Conference registration is available for the full two days and includes entry to the welcome reception. Full registration does not include registration to any of the pre-conference workshops, nor entry to the Gala Dinner.

Day registrations are available and do not include attendance at the Gala Dinner nor to the Welcome Reception.

Welcome Reception 5.30pm Wednesday 8 May – if you wish to register for a single day at the conference (9 or 10 May 2018), you may also register to attend the Welcome Reception, which includes drinks, canapés, entertainment and, of course, opportunity to network!

Gala Dinner 6.30pm Thursday 9 May – ticket includes a sumptuous three-course meal, drinks and entertainment, all curated to suit the theme of Melbourne Noir. Not to be missed!

We offer full and discounted registration rates, depending on your membership status.

MEMBER – Available to financial members of IPEd, Editors’ Association of Canada (Editors Canada), Editorial Freelancers’ Association (USA), Professional Editors’ Guild of South Africa (PEG) and National Association of Independent Writers and Editors (USA)

AFFILIATE – Available to members of Canberra Society of Editors

NON-MEMBER – Available to anyone who does not fit any other category

STUDENT/CONCESSION – Available to holders of a current full-time student or concession card. You will be asked to email a copy of this through once registration is completed

RETIREE – Available to financial members of IPEd in the category ‘retiree’

IPEd Membership

Why add membership to your registration?
In addition to all the benefits you’ll be entitled to as a member of IPEd, if you choose to add or renew a membership now, you will be entitled to register for the conference and workshops at the Member rate.

Acknowledgement / Communication

All communication with registered delegates will be by email. All registrations will be sent a confirmation letter and tax invoice within five working days of submitting a registration form. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam (junk mail) folder prior to contacting the Conference Secretariat as it might have been viewed as spam mail by your spam filter.

If your email address has changed since completing the registration form, be sure to advise your new email address to the Conference Secretariat.
When you register online you will create an account to access and edit your details up until the conference.


Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the 9th IPEd national editors conference after submitting their online registration are most welcome to nominate a substitute. All substitutions and cancellations must be made by email to Cancellations received before 8 April 2019 will be refunded, less an administration fee of $99. Cancellations after 8 April 2019 are not refundable. Exceptions are at the discretion of the Conference Organising Committee.
